Amendment No.8: Amend the Electric Vehicle charging requirements

It is proposed that the Electric Vehicle charging requirements are amended in order to provide an ability to determine the initial provision of charging points on a case-by-case basis. In this regard, it is considered that the provision of EV charging points should be assessed against the relevant County Development Plan standards at the time. This enables the requirement to be reconsidered at intervals in tandem with the rest of South Dublin County.
