Chapter 7: Conservation and Built Heritage

The objective contained in the County Development Plan for Clondalkin included the need to produce a Conservation Plan.  This chapter has been informed by that Conservation Plan and an appraisal of each Architectural Conservation Area commissioned by the Council as part of the preparation for this chapter and the LPF, and which are included on this portal as supporting documents.

This chapter sets out objectives which seek to strike a balance between the need for change and the protection of the special character of Clondalkin, consolidating corresponding measures in the County Development Plan.
