Retention as High Amenity
I strongly support the retention of the lands at St Edmundsbury as high amenity for the following reasons
1 . These lands are a huge source of bio diversity in this area.
2 The NPF emphasises the need for green spaces where the public can interact with nature. any development here would damage the integrity of the labdscape
3 As a long term resident , I have witnessed the massive development in this area on all sides. These lands are now the only area where farming can be witnessed by the young especially at harvest time where many families come to watch where our food actually comes from
4.The Lucan area has contributed greatly to the house building over the past number of years and more to come , leave one area along the beautiful Liffey Valley for thr public to enjoy and breath
