Prevent Housing Development at Edmundsbury

I wish to record my strong objection to the proposed large scale development of the lands at Edmundsbury. These lands should be retained in their current state as agricultural farmland. They are a cherished and much valued part of the heritage of the Lucan area, as well as being a vital natural habitat for biodiversity. They are also an important local amenity. It is not an exaggeration to describe the proposed development of the lands as an obscenity. These lands should be retained for future generations to nurture and enjoy. Future generations will not thank us if we irreparably transform these lands into suburban streetscapes.
