I am making this submission regarding MA5.1 – Citywest.

We are not against housing, but Saggart and Citywest have already grown rapidly while schools, healthcare, childcare, transport, sports facilities and community services have struggled to keep up.
Before further development takes place, the Council should require confirmation that school, water, wastewater and local service capacity can support it.
The proposed community centre/sports hall and active travel link should have clear delivery dates and should be provided alongside the housing, not years afterwards.
Please strengthen MA5.1 so that housing and infrastructure are planned and delivered together.
