Proposed Material Alterations to Proposed Variation No. 2 - MA5.1
This submission is made by Saggart Community Council in response to the Proposed Material Alterations to Proposed Variation No. 2 of the South Dublin County Development Plan 2022–2028.
The submission relates primarily to Material Alteration MA5.1 concerning the former golf course lands at Citywest and seeks the inclusion of additional strategic infrastructure safeguards to ensure that future residential development is supported by education, water, wastewater, healthcare, childcare, community, recreation, transport and public open space infrastructure.
SCC supports sustainable housing delivery and respectfully requests that Citywest be afforded infrastructure safeguards equivalent to those applied to comparable major development areas elsewhere within Proposed Variation No. 2.
