Retain St. Ed's High Amenity zone

I am writing to formally object to any proposed rezoning or material alteration to the land use at St. Edmundsbury, Lucan and to strongly advocate for the retention of its current High Amenity status.

St. Eds forms an indispensable part of Lucans natural heritage, local ecology, and community well being. It is an integral component to the liffey valley special amenity area.

Sacrificing high amenity land undermines balanced development, with Lucan already experiencing dense  residential expansion and urban sprawl in recent years.

St Eds is an irreplaceable community asset. Protecting its green space is a vital objective for environmental sustainability and public health in South Dublin.

I respectfully urge SDCC to retain the high amenity zoning for St Eds and reject any rezoning or material alterations for commercial and / or residential development.
