National Flight Centre Ltd is pleased to note the implementation of Aviation Safeguarding and Public Safety Zones specified in the Aviation Technical Guidance Map for both Weston (EIWF) and Baldonnel (EIME) Aerodromes.
National Flight Centre Ltd is pleased to note the retention of Zoning Objective RU in the area surrounding Weston Airport, and the retention of Zoning Objective HA (LV) in the adjacent area north of the M4 Motorway and River Liffey.
National Flight Centre Ltd is pleased to note the inclusion of Policy IE9: Weston Airport within the Development Plan, specifically its highlighting of the goals of the National Aviation Policy for Ireland (2015) published by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, which sets the policies for aviation in Ireland. The policy objectives will enhance the development of general aviation (GA) activity at Weston Airport, which is the only GA airport serving the capital city, to the benefit of employment and economic activity in the County.
