Retain railway vehicular bridge until DART+ South West is delivered
Caibidil:
Ábhair:
Amendment 3
I am the owner [Personal Information Redacted], Seven Mills, Clonburris. I object to Amendment No. 3.
Seven Mills has only two vehicle access points, and these already queue at peak and school times. There is currently no dedicated bus service in the neighbourhood, and DART+ South West is not yet delivered but postponed to 2030+. The Council's own Systra report shows traffic diverting onto Fonthill Road North and Lynch's Lane, with a 90% increase in saturation at Junction 8 in the AM peak. It states that mitigation may be needed, but this amendment commits to no mitigation.
Any reduction in car access should be linked to the delivery of DART+ South West. I request that:
- The vehicular bridge is retained in the Scheme.
- It is only downgraded to a walk path / cycle path after DART+ South West is fully operational, BusConnects services serve Seven Mills directly, and the Junction 8 mitigation is built. If absolutely necessary
- This condition is written into the phasing table (Table 4.2).
