The development of any residential dwellings on the lands identified should be conditioned on the full operation of DART+ SW and Lucan Luas, with the ABTA to include an assessment of future proposed transport interventions such as DART+ Underground, Orbital Luas routes, and outer orbital road infrastructure towards the western edge of the site to link with Celbridge/M4 to the north and Newcastle/N7 to the south. This is due to the lack of current road capacity in the Lucan area for access to the national road /motorway network and would guarantee public transport provision and capacity for a sustainable development.
