I support the retainion of St Edmundsbury as high amenity lands for the following reasons;
Compliance with the National Planning Framework- to enhance amenity, preserve heritage, transition to a climate resilient society.
Compliance with NPF; green infrastructure aligns with NPFs focus on biodiversity, climate action, natural capital.
Development would sever ecological corridors and damage the landscapes integrity.
The NPF emphasises the importance of high-quality "sense of place" and community well being.
In Lucan, we have borne more than our fair share of development. If re-development goes ahead at St. Ed's, this will further box us into our homes in terms of transport infrastructure and make Lucan a very unenjoyable place to live.
