MA St. Edmundsbury

Ábhair:

I agree and support retaining St Edmundsbury as high amenity lands for the following reasons;

Compliance with the National Planning Framework- enhance amenity, preserve heritage, transition to a climate resilient society.

Compliance with NPF; green infrastructure aligns with NPFs focus on biodiversity, climate action, natural capital.

Development would sever ecological corridors and damage the landscapes integrity.

Lucan is completely over crowed with traffic . Lucan village is grid lock at rush hour every day and all day at weekends avoiding the m50 toll . The public infrastructure is substandard . Ghost buses , no Luas which was supposed to commence in 2008 etc .

The road network is not capable of dealing with current levels of traffic let alone all the future housing already being built or about to commence which has planning permission

This green space is needed for future generations , welfare of the community and to allow nature to prosper . The lands are good for the environment
