MA5.1 – Citywest

We do not oppose housing, but Saggart and Citywest have already grown rapidly while schools, healthcare, childcare, transport, sports facilities and community services have struggled to keep up.

Before further development takes place, SDCC should ensure that school, water, wastewater and local service capacity can support it.

The proposed community centre/sports hall and active travel link should have clear delivery dates and should be provided alongside the housing, not afterwards.

Please strengthen MA5.1 so that housing and infrastructure are planned and delivered together.
