Retention of St Edmundsbury as High Amenity

I am writing in support of Amendment Reference 3 in order to retain the St Edmundsbury and wider Finnstown Castle lands, and the removal of the proposed residential zoning of this area. This area provides an important space for the local community, helps keep the local wildlife's natural habitats intact, and aids in maintaining and restoring much needed biodiversity to the area. 

The benefit of having and maintaining our local Green areas is of a wider benefit to the local area for current and further generations than creating further residential areas. The current infrastructure in the area could not withstand a further influx to the area, and the focus should be on maintaining what natural habitats are left.
