Hello I wish to the object the  proposal of rezoning the Coldcut lands from leisure to housing . Having lived in north Clondalkin for 49yrs I have seen alot of brilliant development for the community and have watched these schools / parks / playgrounds / community centres all grow with the increase in the local population.  I was against the local library being developed but will admit that the council got this right again it has become a very vibrant hub for the local community.

The Coldcut is one of the best opertinities for the council to get it right again ! With it being closed and some parts unkept it is becoming a waste ground and an eye sore . If developed for local sports groups / community groups and a general place for leisure it would be far more useful in my opinion than adding more housing units  especially knowing that there are 1400 units going just across the road at liffey valley into an already heavily populated area .

I hope the right decision is made by the council and purchase this themselves  and we can continue look upon the Coldcut as a vital part of North Clondalkin.
