St. Edmundsbury lands - retention of high amenity function

I ask that due consideration be given to the preservation of the current status of land at Edmundsbury, Lucan.

At a time of high-pressure to make changes, some thoughtful foresight is required to protect a limited portion of land that serves a hugely beneficial purpose in its current state.

The current status aligns with the National Planning Framework which advocates to prioritise keeping existing natural habitats over replacing them.

These protections are required more than ever in an area that is developing at a rapid pace. 

It is crucial to learn from past mistakes and to avoid taking away something that simply cannot be replaced.
