Support for the elected members decision to maintain the High Amenity designation for St. Edmundsbury

I strongly support the elected members of South Dublin County Council's decision to maintain the High Amenity designation on the lands in St. Edmundsbury, Lucan.

These lands are vital for their importance as an area that supports natural ecology and biodiversity and should be maintained for future generations. As an important corridor to and adjoining the Liffey Valley SAAO, South Dublin County Council should attach these lands to the existing SAAO and ensure they are protected from the inevitable future opportunistic development efforts.

I also fully support the decision to not rezone the Finnstown lands .
