Objection to Astro Turf Pitch Greenhills park, Dublin 12
1) This is a small community park used by all ages in the area, during school summer holidays it is used by children of all ages to meet, talk, play, and communicate, the Astro pitch takes up too much of the park and caters for the few.
2)Parents take their young children to run freely and play with there friends, there are schools very close by too.
3) Use of the Astro Turf by GAA, Rugby, and Soccer will result in car parking problems for residents in close proximity.
4) Greenhills is a large residential area, the park has attracted families due to its recreational space, it is for retired people too.
5) Planning that 'covers' green spaces, as seen in inner Dublin, is an error I thought put behind us.
