What is this survey about?

This survey asks for your views on how well we are delivering the commitments in our Corporate Plan.

Why do we want to hear from you?

We are committed to engaging with citizens and stakeholders while delivering this plan. This means we will ask for feedback on how we are doing and use this feedback to improve our work.

We also want to make sure that our diverse communities are represented and that the voices of groups experiencing inequality are heard throughout this process.

What is our Corporate Plan?

SDCC adopted its current Corporate Plan in 2024. This plan sets out our ambitions and commitments up to 2029. 

Our Corporate Plan sets out seven goals with ambitious targets and indicators to track our progress.

  • Climate leadership - Lead a just transition towards net zero
  • Quality housing - Provide quality social and affordable homes for everyone who needs them
  • A thriving economy - Make South Dublin the best possible place to do business
  • A better place - Deliver the infrastructure and facilities required to serve our growing population
  • Connected communities - Support our communities to be integrated, inclusive and safe
  • Cultural richness - Create a vibrant culture for all to enjoy
  • People-first - Be a people-centred organisation

Why should you complete this survey?

By filling in SDCC’s citizen survey, people who live, work, study or visit the County can help us improve our services for you and others. Your feedback helps us to make understand the needs and experiences of our communities. It also tells us what is working well and how we can do better.

Please take part in our survey to help us improve on our customer service and let us know what you really think. You will also have a chance to win a €200 One for All voucher if you provide your contact details in Section 3.   

This survey has been developed in alignment with our Equality and Human Rights Framework to give effect to the Public Sector Equality and Rights Duty. It will take approximately two to five minutes to complete.
