NOTICE OF REVIEW OF THE LAND USE PLANNING FRAMEWORK GOVERNING THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF WESTON AERODROME.
Notice is hereby given that South Dublin County Council intends to review the land use planning framework governing the future development and operation of Weston Aerodrome with reference to changing European safety requirements, economic development opportunities for the County and the impact on neighbouring residential communities.
This review shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of Policy IE9 Objective 6 of the South Dublin County Development Plan 2016 – 2022, which states the following "To facilitate the development of ancillary uses at the aerodrome within its existing setting and consolidate aviation operations. Furthermore, the Council shall, with six months of adoption of this plan, facilitate a further public consultation and review of the land use planning framework governing the future development and operation of Weston Aerodrome with reference to changing European safety requirements, economic development opportunities for our County and the impact on neighbouring residential communities".

Public consultation will take place from Thursday 13th July to Thursday 24th August 2017 at 4pm inclusive. Information can also be viewed at Lucan Library, Clondalkin Library,The John Jennings Library (Stewarts Care), Palmerstown Library Digital Hub, the Civic Offices, Clondalkin and County Hall, Tallaght, during normal opening hours [excluding public holidays].
