In accordance with the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act, 1998, South Dublin County Council (being the relevant housing authority specified under the Act) is preparing a new Traveller Accommodation Programme for the period 2019 – 2024. This plan will cover the administrative area of South Dublin County Council.
Any person or organisation who wishes to make a submission in respect of the new Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025 -2029 are invited to do so.
A copy of the draft programme is available on our wwww.sdcc.ie and the online consultation portal:consult.sdublincoco.ie
Written comments and submissions in relation to the draft programme should be made in writing and returned in a sealed envelope marked ‘Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025 – 2029’ and addressed to SeniorExecutive Officer, Traveller Accommodation Unit ,Housing, Social and Community Development, County Hall, Tallaght, Dublin 24, or by emailing htravellers@sdublincoco.ie to be received no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 30th August 2024.
