Chapter 3: Climate Action and Infrastructure

This chapter recognises that climate action is one of the most significant policy challenges we have today.  It includes analysis of different areas of climate action and objectives to support improvement towards climate actions goals. This includes district heating, renewable energy and energy efficiency measures.  The chapter also recognises that Clondalkin has been designated a Decarbonisation Zone in South Dublin’s Climate Action Plan and includes objectives to support this.

The chapter also looks at infrastructure including flooding and surface water management.
