Clondalkin Local Area Plan: Pre-Draft Public Consultation (3rd Round)

*Registration for each event is required through the links below

Clondalkin is growing and a new Local Area Plan (LAP) is being prepared to help manage this growth. The LAP will cover housing, movement and transport, community facilities, public spaces, biodiversity, economic development, heritage and climate action.

The development of the draft LAP continues to be informed by feedback received as part of two previous rounds of public consultation held between March-May 2024. Thank you to all who shared their views throughout this period.

It is now intended to progress a third round of non-statutory consultation through workshops with the public where options for transport and movement will be reviewed once again prior to publication of a draft LAP. This third round of consultation also included one to one stakeholder meetings throughout November and December 2024 and, alongside the workshops, is being undertaken in recognition of specific concerns around bus gates and other issues raised during the previous rounds of consultation.

Four in-person workshops will be held in January 2025 in Áras Chrónáin, Watery Lane, Clondalkin. *New Workshop now added on Wednesday 29th January in the Green Isle Hotel.
