The proposed reduction in parking spaces on Main Street Lucan will deny and greatly impact on patients accessing essential healthcare, ie Chemist and Main Street Clinic. Because of a medical condition of a close family member I am required to travel to the Clinic by car. The proposal is discriminatory and will interfere with my access to essential health care services. It will further cause greater traffic congestion as people scramble to access limited parking spaces to attend essential appointments and carry out personal business. I strongly object to this proposal.
