The plan for the demesne and promenade overall seem positive. However there needs to be an expansion of parking access to the demesne opposite mc Donald's. The small amount of parking there is often taken up by commuters and it leaves no spaces for people who want to walk in the demesne or kayak etc. there is no parking anywhere else close and there is unused scrub land inside the wall near the outflow from the culvert that could be used. The council needs to be realistic about car use.
