Community
Observation
I strongly support retaining the Finnstown Castle lands identified in MA3.1 as High Amenity land.
Firstly, There are very few remaining unspoiled places in Lucan that the community can avail off. But just as important, these green areas must be preserved for the wildlife, as they also play a key role in our environment. In addition to having a place to dwell, the community must also enjoy a high standard of living in their neighbourhoods. Just because its green space it shouldn’t mean that we build on it. We must consider the heritage and historical backgrounds to these locations.
Secondly, provide sufficient financial resources for infrastructure project to catch up with Previous Builds. The NTA needs to refocus on past promises, Adamstown, Newcastle and surrounding road networks are jammed. People who live in Lucan are trapped. Our communities are experiencing overcrowded buses, Hospitals, and schools are bursting to capacity. Doctors have no appointments, families are asked to self-diagnose
Lastly, nothing has kept pace with previous developments. And adding to this will cause more hardship for the community that exists now. I hope you listen to our worries and do the right thing, Infrastructure, infrastructure, infrastructure
