I support the recent vote against rezoning St Edmonsbury and retain it as High Amenity. 

This is in compliance with the National Planning Framework. 

I grew up in Lucan and visit family there weekly and walk in St Edmondsbury regularly. Residents need access to green spaces. This is a vital well used amenity. The loss of this would leave Lucan with no green space for residents. 

Lucan cannot support more traffic that would arise from rezoning for housing, and the public transport is not adequate for existing numbers as is.

The biodiversity of the area is important and should be protected.
