I strongly believe that St Eds and Finnstown should not be developed for housing . Lucan is full to the brim - look at schools, traffic and public transportation. Buses pass by full - no Luas that was promised- no school places- sitting in traffic congestion. We are the biggest area in Dublin and probably Ireland that has been developed- we have done more than our share. Not to mention the beautiful amenity that St Eds is and could be, home to a huge variety of different wildlife species and fauna. Sinful to build on that when I see so many city buildings empty. Let’s get people back into the city and rejuvenate it like so many other capital cities.
