I, Majella McKeon strongly support retaining St. Edmundsbury as High Amenity lands. St. Edmundsbury is a natural space that supports wildlife, protects biodiversity, and provides an important green area for the local community. Over the last number of years, Lucan has seen a huge amount of new estates developed and built therefore preserving and retaining this valuable green space is vital. Local residents need to be listened too and respected.

Retaining St. Edmundsbury aligns with the National Planning Framework's goals of protecting biodiversity, strengthening green infrastructure, and supporting community wellbeing.

I ask South Dublin County Council to retain and protect St. Edmundsbury for the benefit of residents, wildlife, and future generations and not ruin Lucan's unique green surroundings.
