Dear Chief Executive/to whom it may concern,

I would like to formally object to any development of the lands of St. Edmundsbury. The ecological destruction that will follow any development cannot be underestimated or ignored. We cannot allow one of the last remaining ecosystems in Lucan to be destroyed. Common sense and a sense of duty towards our children ought to prevail. Not everything is about money, we will not take it with us. Surely if we are to uphold this government’s “green “ credentials, we ought to be protecting our environment, not cementing it in concrete. Do not call us “sentimental “ or patronise us because we want to ensure our children have somewhere to go and breathe. Building more houses in an area already overwhelmed with housing estates will offer what exactly? I dare anyone making these decisions to spend a few days navigating the difficulties we face as things are. Laraghon should have taught you planners a lesson but obviously not. If St. Edmundsbury is approved for development, it will be another sign that money talks and there are no morals left anymore.
Sincerely,

Anna Chrysovergi
