St. Edmundsbury - Retaining these lands as High amenity lands. I cannot believe again we must draw attention to the benefits of keeping st edmundsbury as an amenity to the people of lucan.

The importance of keeping this as it is and that it's benefits for the future generations with respect to environment, biodiversity, recreational amenity and open green space are beyond easy to see.

That as a functioning society we cannot see this is bafflings not to mind compliance with the National Planning Framework- enhance amenity, preserve heritage, transition to a climate resilient society.

Compliance with NPF; green infrastructure aligns with NPFs focus on biodiversity, climate action, natural capital.
Development would sever ecological corridors and damage the landscapes integrity. 

The NPF emphasises the importance of high-quality "sense of place" and community well being. Take a walk here and immediately you'll be struck by it's natural beauty and the vital place it occupies for people and nature.

Bats, badgers, foxes, rabbits and smaller, not to mind the nesting native birds of prey would be impacted to any changes. 

I'd invite any person that cannot understand it's importance to start at the gate, drive the km to the village and back and then park up and go for a walk. The time you'll spend walking will likely only start to help you get over the traffic that's already there. 

We need to stand for something, we need to have morals and we need to be able to look future generations in the eye. Any development allowed should only be to let more people use it in its current guise, as a vital lung to the urban sprawl.
