Another attempt at objecting to the secondary permeability routes through Cherrywood Avenue from residents who actually reside here. I am flummoxed as to how objections from residents who actually live in Cherrywood Avenue have fallen on DEAF ears of the council. This gate you are "considering " trying to open has been insitu over 40 years. The people of Clondalkin have managed to access Old Nangor road without the need to have a walkway through a private estate. The anxiety this is inducing in residents young and old who live in proximity to this gate is undue. This gate was put in place due the antisocial behaviour at the time. Cars been broken into, houses been broken into...lane way being used a a public toilet..easy access to damage property and also easy escape route!

I would highly consider if public consultations are taking place to make sure people who work are given some thought as the time of the most recent consultation was not suitable for a lot of residents.

Please heed the objections by your constituents who live in these areas! They are not been raised for no reason. Listen to us and act accordingly.

The opening if this gate would no doubt increase antisocial behaviour and also the use of parents who will be parking at this opening to allow their children out to the school across the way. This happens at Richmond Way already on the daily. CHERRYWOOD AVENUE is a mature estate. People bought houses here as there is no through access for public and this offer security to homeowners.

This gate and area is maintained by residents for over 40 years and I should hope it remains this way.

Children play on this road who live here and having the gate removed would raise concerns about their safety also.

I highly object to the opening of this gate. Along with ALL the Cherrywood Avenue residents.
