I wanted to say I think the Astropitch at greenhills park would be of real benefit to the community. I think there are so many kids in the area between walkinstown, Perrystown, greenhills itself, that have no astropitch and who are driving up to tallaght astropark every night of the week throughout the winter. It’s causing havoc with traffic for one thing, but it’s crazy that there are so few available to choose from that the closest available is a 30 min drive with traffic. I think with girls being encouraged to participate as well as boys there is a growing demand for Astro pitches in the winter and we need to keep them playing.
