Tallaght Rugby club is fully supportive of this much needed development. we have 250 members have been in the area 20+ years, this development would be very welcome.

We currently  rent two sdcc pitches - firhouse pitch 100 and tymon park pitch 151 and Tallaght stadium astro for training. we've been dealing with the council for a long time for a forever home with no luck yet, a full size rugby pitch would be a welcome investment.

Rugby is a winter sport and two weeks into the season we've already had games called off due to storm army - the proposed full size astro would be a fantastic facility. 

we currently dont have a clubhouse or running water. this facility would be used and help us grow our offering, host more school blits, more games and give kids in the area more game time.
