I fully support the proposal for the new 3G Astro pitch in our local park. As a coach and father of 2 This facility will provide a much-needed, all-weather space for sport and recreation, encouraging more people of all ages to stay active throughout the year. It will benefit local schools, grassroots clubs, and community groups by offering a safe and reliable surface for football, training, and wider community use. Importantly, it will also help reduce wear and tear on the park’s natural grass areas by providing an alternative, durable playing space.

This investment will not only promote health and wellbeing but also strengthen community connections by creating a shared hub for sport and activity. I believe the new pitch will be a valuable long-term asset for the park and the wider community.
